Living in Kuala Lumpur….and the cost you have to pay….

Salam,

Living in Kuala Lumpur may sounds exciting for most of people. And I admit that at one time, I was one of them. But now, when I am actually staying in KL; I somehow feel irritate sometimes (actually most of the time) as things are just moving fast, way too fast for me… (Except for the crazy traffic jam that I’m facing every single day!!!) People are always busy, they are too busy even to smile or greet each other (except when their bosses are passing through of course…). Money seems to be the center of attraction. To live comfortably in KL, you need money as everything cost money here….from parking fee, to toll fee, Komuter, LRT and even for entering the toilet.

Most of us wake up early and come back late every weekdays and sometime on weekends…and guess for what??? MONEY!!!!...hahaha… working hard is not a crime, finding more money is not a wrong-doing…NO,No,no…but in the effort of doing so, without noticing, unwillingly you will done unjust to the people you love... even to your own self. When we are too obsess in finding money…

We sometimes forget about our children who are waiting to play with their father or mother…waiting for them to come home until they themselves fall asleep…

We sometimes forget to have conversation with our wife/husband who sometimes need aomeone to talk to,... a shoulder to cry on… and when finally he/she comes home; to tired the only thing in mind is to find the bed…

We sometimes forget about our parent back at home who are waiting for at least a phone call from their son or daughter….for it is not their intention to ask for MONEY…just requesting fpr some ATTENTION & LOVE from us…

And..we sometimes even forget our responsibilities as Khalifah and servant of Allah s.w.t…..

Money is teribly important....but is not your everything. Don't trade it with things that you just can't get/buy back....family, friends, children, time, honour and respect.....once you lost them, you can never get them back...even with the money you saved your whole life-time...

 Wassalam...

The reason why I am disgusted with “Aku Masih Dara” film.

Yeah right!!!...according to the director and the actors involved, the films was made based from their noble awareness and responsibility on the social problem faced by Malaysian teenagers. Or is it???...I am sorry, but I BEG TO DIFFER to En Ahmad Idham and the rest of the crew. For me it is such a disgrace to watch Malay girls wear such “prostitute like” attires even for the sake of acting. (To the extent that you actually see the curve of their “boobs” – there you go folks, a truly moral-oriented film specially created for the teen!!!). And such ironic that people involve in this film have the gut to place Islamic content throughout the film. As a Muslim, I am really angry and offended. The filthy words used in the film plus with the shameful attires, I just cannot understand how the hell they can have the gut to relate it with Islamic ethics.

Even the poster for the film will show you on what they are “actually trying to sell”. Make a film if you want to, but be WARNED!!!..  Never try to use Islam as a wicked way to cover the “carcass” that you are trying to sell.  Honestly I will feel VERY awkward, disturbed and ashamed watching this film especially if I watch it at home with my FATHER & MOTHER and with my young nephews.

OK, this post may sound pretty harsh, but as a Muslim….This is my stand, and I am very firm on it.

My New Year (2011) Celebration

Salam to all…

Alhamdulillah....thank you Allah s.w.t for giving me the opportunity to keep on living in this new year of 2011. My previous New Year celebration for 2011 was pretty modest. Supposedly…my wife and I were going to celebrate New Year eve with my ex-housemate from bangi. However the boys are too busy with their girlfriends and ultimately forgot about us…hahaha (don’t ask me what they are busy “with”…jeng3!!!)… Lastly we decided to watch cinema near our place, we watched “Meet the Fockers” and before that had our dinner at our favorite place. i say that the food tasted better with my fair lady accompanying me.

Unbelievably, the boys actually remembered us and gave me a call. It seems that they are “done” with the “thing” that made them busy previously…hahaha… At what time they called you asked me???... AT 01.35 IN THE MORNING!!!!....WOW…HOW THOUGHTFUL OF THEM….what the heck, I just ignore the ringing phone and continue cuddling my wife while we watched movies all night long until 5.00 in the morning.

As I mentioned earlier on, it was a very modest celebration we had. In my younger days, I will go haywire throughout any celebrations. Going out with my group of friends and wooing the girls all night long is our most favorite part of the show. Hahaha…that was back then.  Now, as I grow older I try to keep it simple. Even in Islam we are taught to be “wasatiah”- humble and modest in our daily lives. And this experience made me realized on how simple moment can turn to become a truly beautiful, magical, inspiring and a fairytale…when you share it with the people that you care and love…Happy New Year to all....

Wassalam.
